About the Role:

Our Operations Manager will oversee critical work onsite to manage office operations, ensuring the company runs smoothly. The Company Engagement Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the client companies and organizations that seek to hire Claim Academy graduates. This role also involves taking leadership in developing mutually beneficial working relationships and achieving partnership growth with employers and local organizations that will directly benefit Claim Academy’s professional development programs. The Company Engagement Manager will serve as an intermediary for both the client and Claim Academy students. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide system enhancements, process improvements, and training to facilitate the student placement with these companies and organizations. Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Independently manage the activities with employers and communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate the ability to coordinate the management of the client’s priorities.
- Share knowledge of duties and clients with fellow employees.
- Coordinates with companies and organizations to have them attend Demo Day and conduct interviews with the Claim Academy graduates.

As a Claim Academy Teaching Assistant , you will provide mentorship for our award-winning fullstack immersion developer program based on established curriculum and class syllabus. You will guide students through assigned course work and help in developing their projects. You’ll collaborate with the team to meet our mission of changing lives, and provide a friendly classroom environment.
This will be a full time role based in St. Louis, MO. This position reports to the Lead Instructor.
As a teaching assistant, working hours would be: 10 am to 7pm – Monday through Friday
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in Computer Science
- Must have a deep understanding of Java or C#
- Industry-recognized professional certifications are a plus
- Candidates with software development and/or teaching experience preferred
- Candidates must submit to an interview process that includes a 30-minute technical skill demonstration
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Passionate about coaching and mentoring
- Ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering course material.
- Solid knowledge of Object-oriented programming languages (Java/C#).
- Ability to utilize a variety of methods and mediums in delivering course material
- Knowledge of web applications design (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React)
- Excellent written, verbal communication and reporting skills
- Strong understanding of Full stack java (Spring mvc, Spring boot, hibernate, maven) or full stack C# development (C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework)
- A desire to work in a fast-moving environment with a high degree of ownership and independence
- Proven educational or administrative experience in critical thinking and problem solving
Responsibilities:
- Assist students with daily assignments and projects.
- Participate in academy initiatives by providing regular, accurate, and timely feedback to students and the academy concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc.
- Motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process.
- Complete professional development and in-service activities in accordance with academy standards.
- Reports status of each student to the Lead instructor.
Salary: $20.00 to $30.00/hour

Claim Academy is a premier developer boot camp that offers immersive on-campus and online programs in software engineering and cybersecurity in St Louis. You must be friendly and enjoy planning and hosting events
We want you to feel comfortable in our space and encourage those working around you to become 10x more productive. You should anticipate needs and consider how our space and collaboration tools need to change as we evolve and grow. You will work with others to coordinate weekly team meetings and “lunch and learns,” plan larger organization wide events such as alumni nights.
Responsibilities will include management of class instructors, student communication, basic bookkeeping, payroll, scheduling, and office management. Candidates for this position are also encouraged to initiate their own projects, and compensation will increase as responsibilities increase. Ideal candidates will have previous experience with all of the above responsibilities, and will be able to demonstrate a history of projects begun, managed, and seen to completion. Technical backgrounds and comfort with new technologies preferred. Bachelor’s degrees from reputable institutions also preferred.
